A few weeks ago we went to the Topeka Zoo with some friends – Tayley and Taven. It was Beka’s first trip and Luke’s second trip to the zoo.
Not sure why Luke didn’t look very happy – he perked up once we got inside the zoo!

The tiger kept pacing back and forth in front of the window – he probably thought the kids looked like a tasty treat!
We fed the sheep and goats in the petting area,
Then we watched the bears – one climbed all the way up the tree!
After we ate some lunch at the zoo, we walked across the street to the train depot in the park.

The train has been running in Gage Park for over 40 years!

Very dark but fun! A successful trip to the zoo!
