Playgroup "Campout"

Last Thursday we had a "campout" with the other playgroup mommies and kids. It was very fun, and a great way to spend the afternoon/evening. It was from about 3 - 7pm, which was the perfect amount of time, and really got the kids ready to head home and to bed! I apologize that not all of these pictures are of Luke, but my camera is still broken but will be replaced soon, so these were all taken by someone else. But Luke is in a lot of them!

We had some watermelon...

And some more watermelon! (I think we need to tell Luke not to eat the rind!)

Cooked some hot dogs over a "campfire,"

Played in a fort,

Went down the slide a million times,

Bounced (safely and very well monitored) on a trampoline,

Rode (again, safely, and a VERY short and slow distance) in the back of a truck,

to a very special place,

where we got to....

feed the catfish!

Everyone sat very nicely on the side of the pond and threw food to the fish!

I think Luke might have had more fun throwing the food in the water than actually seeing the fish! But it was a lot of fun and the fish were huge!

We then did some relaxing with friends,

and had a great time! We hope to do it again soon! Thanks again to Addie's mom Nancy for letting us have the campout at their house. It was beautiful and a lot of fun!

Beka's First Photo Shoot!

Amy Cyphers of Cyphers Photography took some great pictures of Beka a few weeks ago and was kind enough to give me copies to post on facebook and our blog! We had a great time at the photo shoot and can't wait to get more pictures taken when Beka can sit up and is smiling more. Hopefully we'll also get some good pictures of Luke and Beka together, also. Hope you enjoy the pics of our little "poser" (seriously - she seems to be posing all the time, even when she is sleeping!!) If you want a print of any of these, just let me know!

More Pictures from the Teddy Bear Picnic!

Tayley was kind enough to take a few pictures of Luke at the Teddy Bear Picnic after my camera bit the dust, so here they are!

The kids getting ready to make their "campfire" snacks.

Luke showing off a teddy graham - notice the cute snack of a pretzel stick and easy cheese campfire with teddy bears sitting around it!

Listening to one final story with Addie!
